Pilates classes and training
At Svetla Sun Pilates I offer a variety of Pilates classes that use different equipment to enhance your Pilates experience. Whether you want to increase your flexibility, strengthen your core, correct your posture, or relieve your muscle tension, I have a class for you.

In my in person Pilates classes in Cowbridge you can benefit from a well designed and structured lesson in many ways. It can correct your wrong posture, restore your physical vitality, invigorate your mind and elevate your spirit.

Individualised Approach
Small private Pilates classes are great if you are looking for more individual time with your teacher. Before you take your first class you will have an individual consultation where we will discuss your particular need or reason to start Pilates. Whether you have any injuries, we will create your personal plan to achieve your goals accordingly. Based on your fitness history and current fitness level we will work on specific goals like strengthening a certain area, building flexibility, improving posture, re- building stamina after an injury, etc. You will receive individual attention and feedback from me to ensure that you are doing them correctly and safely.
Variety
I also incorporate a variety of equipment for certain exercises, depending on the level of difficulty of the class:
- 9" soft ball
- 12" soft ball
- Foam roller
- Big stability ball 55/65 cm.
- Resistance bands
Suitable for All Levels
My small Pilates classes are suitable for all ages and levels. Whether you are a beginner or have some experience in a small class you I can meet you exactly where you are at. I can evaluate your current fitness level and take your exact goals into account.
Quick results
If you are looking for maximum results in minimum time a small private Pilates class is for you. In a small group you will hear and see more than in a busy class. I will be able to answer questions, correct or pay attention to everyone. Each session is refined according to your progress and goals and offers the most efficient way to achieve results.
Focus and Motivation
Each class is unique, with different equipment and topics, every month, so no two classes are the same. Even clients who have been with me for over 10 years don’t get bored! For this reason, equipment classes should always be limited to a small number of students.

This is the best equipment for spine correction and alignment. Many of our clients have reported amazing results after just a few sessions with the foam roller. It can also improve your hip and shoulder mobility, balance and stability, and release the water retention in your muscles.
Foam Roller
9" soft ball:
This small ball can help you improve your spine flexibility, challenge your core muscles and improve your body shape. You will feel the difference in your movement and alignment after using this ball.
12" soft ball
This larger ball will provide you with a comfortable back support, so you can connect your core muscles effectively in the safest possible way. You will discover muscles you never knew existed and learn how to activate them.
Big stability ball 55/65 cm
This is a fun and effective way to work on your back problems, coordination and balance. You will learn how to use the ball to support and challenge your body in various positions and exercises. You will also develop a confident and perfect posture that will save you lots of energy.
Resistance bands
These are not just for stretching, but also for engaging small muscle groups that support your joints and prevent injuries. You will feel more toned and flexible after using these bands.
You can benefit from a well designed and structured lesson in many ways. It can correct your wrong posture, restore your physical vitality, invigorate your mind and elevate your spirit.

Pilates on Chairs
£40 per month
I started this class many years ago as a co-project with AGE ALIVE 50+. It is a charity organisation based in Newport Gwent. During the years it has developed into a very successful Welsh online class.
Pilates on Chairs is a programme specifically designed for those in recovery or with limited mobility. It is a fun, gently paced class with light stretches using a 9” soft ball and resistance band.
Pilates on chairs is a ZOOM live class - an excellent way to connect people and give them structure and routine.
It is a challenging class that will improve muscle strength and physical endurance. My programme includes exercises to improve coordination, reflex time, balance and core strength, so that participants feel safer and stronger while doing their everyday activities.
Staying seated or standing with a support provides a unique opportunity for even frail seniors or those who aren’t flexible to exercise safely and increase their strength and flexibility, to feel taller, more energised and happier.
The ‘Pilates on Chairs’ zoom live class is an excellent way to connect people and give them structure and routine. It is a great support to those who want to stay encouraged and motivated to get the health benefits of these exercises.

Learn Pilates at your own convenient time with pre-recorded video lessons.
If you can’t find time to fit Pilates in your busy schedule, or don’t feel confident in a Zoom class because you don’t like to be seen on camera or have technical issues, then pre-recorded videos are just for you. You can access and rewatch your weekly lesson at your convenience and pace.
Subscribe for monthly pre-recorded videos and every Sunday you will receive a NEW video lesson.
Each pre-recorded lesson is one hour split into 2 x 30 min parts. Sometimes it could be challenging to do the whole lesson in one go, therefore you have an option to have two short 30 min sessions at a suitable time.
